Harnoor’s Schooling
He studied at Spring Dale Senior School of Amritsar, Punjab. As a typical modern-day Indian student, while studying in Grade 12th. He also aimed to score well in the Board Exams and JEE Mains (National Level Entrance Exam For Engineering). As these exams are highly competitive, he couldn’t manage to get enough scores to be admitted to IITs. Fortunately, it was a blessing in disguises that proved to change his entire life.
Opportunity to Study Abroad (USA or Canada)
For an Indian student, who struggles to get admission to a good engineering college, suddenly getting the opportunity to study abroad is more than his/her dream. Harnoor never imagined or had any idea to study in the USA.
As he belongs to Punjab, it’s very much influenced by Canadian trends and most Punjabis prefer Canada for education & jobs. After the non-qualifying result, her mother and maternal grandmother came to support him financially and decided to send him to the United States of America.
Admission to America’s Georgia State University
To be very harsh, Harnnor already had his Uncle settled in Georgia, so it was slightly a privilege for him. Her mother was a doctor and her maternal grandmother was the principal, so they financially supported him to take admission to a good University in computer science based in the United States.
After an unsuccessful JEE main exam, Harnoor moved to the US to pursue his bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science at Georgia State University. In 2020 he completed his Master’s degree.
How did Harnoor cater his entire University Fee in America?
He reached the US with 1st year’s tuition fees, provided their guardians, and managed all her further expenses on his own. The real hustle started right after he joined the college in 2016. Let’s briefly see how Harnoor paid his tuition fees and managed accommodation.
Part-Time Jobs
As soon as he reached university, he tried to find many various jobs in the university and its surroundings. After a big struggle, he hardly managed to find a job as a dishwasher. Although he didn’t like to go for this kind of job, the situations weren’t according to him. Sooner, he found another job to teach mathematics to students with the same amount of income. Doing this could hardly manage his accommodation and personal expenses.
Internships
After a few months, Harnnor got a chance to work at Panasonic as an Intern. By that, he could earn well and pay his 2nd year’s tuition fees on his own. Apart from that, he also made some savings for the future. Although he was earning well at Panasonic, there was no more growth for a coder.
So, he joined NCR as an intern with less salary but with more exposure to the coding world and growth opportunities. He sacrificed some of her expenses like overall lifestyle, staying in shared rooms, and being open to free food and healthy networking.
YouTube Channel
While Harnoor was exploring different sources of income, he also started a YouTube Channel. That channel became very popular with the Indian audience: “Singh in the USA”. There he uploaded regular vlogs, travel, university reviews, and fun videos about tech and student life.
Sooner, he started getting brand deals that gradually became a source of income for him. Now his channel has got around a Million subscribers and become a big asset for Harnoor.

His current job is as a full-time software engineer at NCR Corporation Georgia. His story inspires every lower to middle-class student to dream big, travel to different countries, and live a joyful life.
There are many more things to learn for Harnnor as a man. He does regular workouts, vlogging, good networking with new people, and manages his friends and family altogether. Lately, he is also in a relationship with her girlfriend named Katie Elizabeth.
He also lives in a luxury apartment and brought a brand new Tesla Car. He is getting financially stronger day by day, we hope soon he touches the millionaire tag.
